Terms of use
Effective date: September 13, 2026
Acceptance
These terms of use govern the Daypace app and the daypace.com website. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
License and App Store terms
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Daypace for its intended purpose. Because Daypace is distributed through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to the App Store terms, and Apple may enforce certain provisions as a third-party beneficiary.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features are paid. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes and price changes under Apple's policies. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Prices and what a plan includes may change over time; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.
Alarms and reminders
Daypace schedules alarms and notifications through the features your device provides. Whether an alarm rings depends on your permissions, system settings, battery, Focus modes, and the operating system itself. Daypace keeps a ledger of what it scheduled and what it observed, but it cannot guarantee delivery.
Do not rely on Daypace for anything where a missed alarm could cause harm, such as medication, safety, or medical timing.
Your content
You are responsible for what you enter into Daypace and for keeping a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose. Deleting the app deletes its data on that device.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the app or the website, interfere with their security or availability, or copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the software except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
Availability and disclaimers
We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. The app and website are provided as is and as available, to the fullest extent the law permits. Daypace is a productivity tool; it is not medical, legal, financial or safety advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for Daypace in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United States and the state in which the maker of Daypace is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local law requires otherwise. We may revise these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions go through the form at https://daypace.com/support.
